For me (in no particular order!): hanging out with my houseplants (I don't have a garden); singing; dancing; writing (when I'm in the zone, less so when I'm struggling); cooking; connection with friends and loved ones; strength work in the gym; running .... (I'm sure there are more).
Maybe we can find a very gentle accountability practice (I don’t even want to use the word accountability!). I know I feel inspired when you share things so maybe we can…. Inspire each other?
With the RIGHT therapist, with the RIGHT coach—that is such an excellent way to phrase it, and I think if we always stressed the importance of working with the right practitioner, so many fewer people would assume therapy/coaching were unlikely to help, based, maybe, on past experiences that weren't fruitful.
And I’ll add that it’s not always easy to know (especially beforehand) which is why I think open dialogue about what is and isn’t working is also so crucial. I need to feel included in the process to feel empowered to help shape the experience.
Nodding along to so many sentences here, Hanna. The yoga, the ND friendships, the FRAMEWORKS. It’s all so vital in order for us to stop feeling ‘wrong’, and it’s all such a practise. Thank you for including my piece - what a beautiful surprise! And I’ve been wondering each time I see your drawings (but too shy to ask), where and how do you start making the marks? I’d love to know. x
Love this, Hanna. What a great list :)
Thank you Rachel!! I’d love to hear what’s on yours if you’d like to share!

I feel inspired to turn on music and dance through my house while doing chores today!
Thank you for sharing yours!!
I would include most of these as well. I really need to find a way to start doing yoga again.

I'd love that!

I love that you asked :)
Is there a specific framework that you’re thinking of that helps you?
Beautiful list!
