A Visual Guide to Finding the Right Coach for You
+ a downloadable workbook/ zine and a workshop.
Jan 7, 2025: Adding the workshop video.
I got incredibly lucky. When I was matched up with my coach as part of my coaching training, I ended up with just the right person for me. At the time, if you had asked me what I was looking for in a coach, my answer would have been something along the lines of: I have no fucking clue.
Later, when I searched for a therapist to support my quest to find out whether I’m autistic, I wanted someone who had lived experience as an AuDHD human, whose vibe I liked, and who would allow me lots of agency as part of the process. Lots of essays, art, and an unpolished but informative website helped me make a decision.
The process of finding the right coach can be daunting.
Here is a guide to help you find the right coach for you.
Some tips:
💡 This will be hard to read on mobile - you might want to open this on a bigger screen.
💡You can download the guide below, print it, at use it as a workbook! Lots of colors, I know - ask your friendly neighborhood librarian for help!

Tip: As you‘re finding your coach, remember to (try) to trust your instinct. A great connection is key! If something is feeling off, even if you can’t name it, trust that feeling and continue your search.
When you meet with me for a discovery call, here’s what to expect:
Introductions
What brings you to coaching?
What is coaching, what’s my style, how can I support?
I always end with: “I will send notes and more info in an email. Take your time to think about where you want to go from here.” I will never ask you to make any decision on the spot.
If, after our discovery call, one of us1 decides that we’re not the right fit for one another, I can help make connections. I honestly just want you to get the support you deserve.

Work with me as your 1-1 coach.
Yes, that happens! If I know that I’m not the right coach for someone because I can’t give them what they need, I’d rather support them in finding someone who’s better suited.
…and my husband is happy to have the dinner table back.
