Hi there! If you’re new here, you’re arriving in the middle of a 4-week experiment that’s a bit different from my regular newsletter cadence (weekly, on Fridays). Next week is our last week of Might Finish, Might Not. Feel free to join us just for a week or you can explore the archives instead. Here are 3 posts you might like:
I’m also excited to be co-hosting another live next week; this time with the lovely . I hope you can join us.
Are you interested in collaborating? Whether a live, a cross post, a podcast, or a written collaboration — I’d love to hear about your ideas! DM me or reply to this email.
How did this week go? I noticed a lot less engagement in all of the different places — It feels like week 3 was tough for many of us?
As I shared in my chat, I had a feeling this would be the week when things slow down and get wobbly!
And the thing is: that's okay! There’s a reason I titled it “Doubt”!
What I’m curious about is: how did you handle it when doubt / lack of motivation / boredom crept in?
Did you hide, pretend it's not happening and are now feeling bad for not "sticking to it"? Or did you rest, with intention? I want to know: what happened when things got hard?
If I’m completely honest, I probably would have disappeared and avoided my project if it wasn’t for MFMN and my commitment to all of you. Checking in on you meant I had to also check in on myself; walk the walk and all that.
Before we reflect on the week, I want to give you permission (even though you don’t need it) to:
Drop the project completely. If that feels aligned, let it go for now. That’s okay.
Pick it back up for a fresh week. Don’t let the past week get in the way. You can just start again.
And please, message me or reply here if you need support, even if you're not quite sure what kind of help you need. I know that’s easier said than done, but this is why I created the whole thing. So really, you'd be doing me a favor :)
Before we start our retrospective, I invite you to celebrate with me. Even if you just showed up for week 1 to explore what supports you — that counts! I’d love for you to join me. All details & sign up in the link below.
Ok, now let’s look back again: What went well? What didn’t? What are you going to do differently? What did you learn?
This doesn’t need to take much time. You can set a timer for 5 minutes and jot down some bullet points. Here’s a picture of my retrospective from last week:
